The woman had right of way, but only if the two cars were preparing to enter the tunnel simultaneously. Had they entered simultaneously they'd have met in the middle of the tunnel, not at her end.
She is clearly in the wrong, and should not have crossed the line on her side of the bridge until the old bloke had passed through.
To hold a vast collection on both sides of the tunnel to ransom was selfish and attention seeking. She deserved everything she got.

It appears that the lady driver had right of way but not when the old boy had got most of the way through the tunnel before she started in. That's why she was getting flack plus she was accessible.
I remember something similar happening to me years ago crossing a long (100m?) one car width bridge at East Farleigh on the outskirts of Maidstone. I was almost over it and an elderly woman drove onto the bridge in spite of me having come some 80 or 90 metres. She just sat there in her Mercedes and waved me to go back like she was the Queen.
I got out of my car and pointed out to her quite politely, that there were several cars behind me; none behind her; that she should not have started across an occupied bridge; had only 10m to reverse and that she just had to do it before more cars blocked us all in.
She drove backwards but clearly could not reverse properly and scraped the wall. I offered to reverse her car for her but she insisted that she could do it and managed to scrape the wall again increasing the damage by being at a shallower angle.
However, she had cleared enough space so I told her to wait there until all the cars had passed her then she could drive on and shot through before she could create any more havoc.
Unfortunately drivers that cannot reverse should not be driving forwards either...
